What are library hours? Library hours are:
Tuesday thru Friday, 10 a.m. -5 p.m.
Saturday 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.
We are closed Sunday, Monday and some holidays. Holiday closings will be posted at the librar
y,on facebook, and on our websites.

How can I get a library card?

Adult cards are available to those over 18 years of age with a photo ID and proof of residence in Callahan county.
Children under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian  with them to sign their application. The adult must have  acceptable ID and proof of residence.


How can I check my account? Clicking on the "Search Catalog" button will take you to the biblionix  website where you can login. For password or login assistance you may call the library.

How long can I keep an item I've checked out?
Books / audio books / CD's :  21 days- late fee .10/day

DVDs                             7days- late fee 1.00/day


Maximum fines are $3.00 on non-DVD  items, Maximum $14.00 for DVDs.
Items can be put in the night drop on the north side of the building at any time.




How can I renew my items? You renew items by calling the library or by logging in to your account. You can now also renew items by texting Gabbie at 325-400-1486 with the message "renew" or "renew all". The system recognizes you by your phone number so it is not necessary to enter anything else. If your renewal was successful, you will receive a confirmation message. If you do NOT receive the confirmation, please contact the library at  893-5315 for assistance.
Only accounts in good standing can renew items.
Items with a hold on them cannot be renewed.


Can I place a hold on books and movies? Holds on all items can be placed at the library or can be placed online.

How do I use the public computers at the library?  Cardholders  who wish to use the computers need to read and complete an "Internet Use Agreement", and must have an account in good standing.
